My J-school colleague Jessica Hilberman turned me on to publisher McSweeney’s latest creative foray, a “21st-century newspaper prototype” that includes the work of 150 photographers, writers and designers. Lest you think broadsheet is no more, the full-color San Francisco Panorama will feature news, features, comics, columns, and pull-out posters. Before the one time print edition is available locally in December you can download a PDF of select pages–those highlighting Chris Ware, Michael Chabon and Miranda July, perhaps?
