Rack Bag: Biking Bliss

Picture 1When I saw an image of the Po Campo bike bag in a Chicago style magazine (of which the name escapes me, poor journalism practicing), it reminded me of some of the things I most like about the Windy City: practical, fun and manageable. I wanted to take one of the company’s pannier rack-attachable bags for a test run in my own city, and the results have been most enjoyable. The fabric is bright and the bag is much more meeting entrance-friendly than the utilitarian silver pannier I’ve been toting of late. I wish the size were a bit bigger but like the outer pocket (something tells me the creators are iPhone users because the size is perfect). The placement of the handlebar bag option isn’t for me, but the rack version would make a great gift for bike toting pal looking to save their shoulders while commuting. I’m pushing for them to start selling in the Bay Area, and given how much people spend on colorful tires here, they may make a killing at $160 each.
